About
Michelle Brown, Integrative Therapist (MBCAP)
I am an experienced Psychotherapist and I work with individuals, intimate relationships, couples and families. I believe that how we are in our relationships is at the centre of many the pleasures of life, as well as at the centre of the difficulties we meet in both our personal and professional lives.
My approach to therapy is to honour the intention to understand, heal and improve ourselves in all of our relationships. Taking responsibility for ourselves is just part of the journey towards healthier and happier times, and my approach is to support clients to develop understanding and to evolve personal strategies for change. Positive change is always worth the effort, for ourselves and for all those we are in close and important relationships with.
I have worked as a Psychotherapist and Relationship Therapist for many years and I have a Masters degree in Relationship Therapy and a Post Grad certification in Psychosexual Therapy. I am a Registered Member of the B.A.C.P. and hold a registration with the IFS Institute. I have studied many theoretical approaches to therapy and bring a pluralistic approach to my work which draws on many schools of wisdoms and practices.
