About
I’m Martine, a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with a BSc in Food and Nutrition, an MSc in Public Health Nutrition and experience working within an NHS paediatric dietetic team.
Through my independent practice, MK Nutrition, I support children, young people, adults and families experiencing sensory, selective or restrictive eating. This may include a very limited range of accepted foods, anxiety around unfamiliar foods, strong sensory preferences, mealtime stress or concerns about nutritional intake.
My approach is evidence-informed, neuro-inclusive and pressure-free. I look beyond what someone eats to explore factors such as sensory processing, interoception, predictability, executive functioning, safe foods and the practical realities of family life. I combine my professional knowledge with real-life experience as a parent, so families can expect understanding, practical guidance and no judgement.
I offer online one-to-one consultations, sensory and restrictive eating consultations, food diary reviews and personalised nutrition guidance. I have also completed additional professional training relating to ARFID and selective eating.
I cannot diagnose or treat ARFID, but I can help families explore the wider picture, identify possible nutritional concerns and consider manageable next steps. Where appropriate, I will recommend seeking support from a GP, dietitian or other relevant clinical service.
MK Nutrition is independent from my NHS employment.
