About
I’m Abbie Shorthouse, founder of Spectrum Behaviour Consultancy. I’m a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and UKSBA-Cert professional, and I support autistic children, young people, and their families with practical, individualised positive behaviour support.
I work with families who want to better understand behaviour, build useful everyday skills, and feel more confident about how to support their child. My services include behaviour and skills assessments, personalised behaviour or skill-building plans, parent coaching, and ongoing support and review.
I take time to understand your child as an individual, including their strengths, needs, communication, environment, and the situations in which difficulties are occurring. From there, we can work together to make sense of what may be contributing to the behaviour and develop practical strategies that feel realistic for your family.
My aim is to give you greater clarity, practical next steps, and support that feels useful in everyday life.
